If you’re thinking about joining a coding bootcamp to switch to a career in tech, you’re likely looking to make sure you’ll have solid job prospects after graduating. At Northcoders, we’re committed to helping you secure your first role in the tech industry, which is why we include tailored career support with our bootcamps and work with businesses all over the UK.

How does Northcoders help me get a tech job?

Our dedicated placement team is constantly expanding our network of over 450 hiring partners across various industries, from big companies like the BBC to smaller ones like Isotoma Limited. This means that when those companies are recruiting, we can put you directly in touch with them. They’re also familiar with the Northcoders curriculum, so they already know that your skillset will fit their team well.

As part of the bootcamp, you’ll be building your own projects, so you leave the course with a portfolio to show to future employers. Our career coaches will also help build your CV, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews, giving you the skills and confidence needed to land your dream tech job. This support starts during the course and continues for the next 6 months after your graduation, so you can keep checking in with your career coach and getting answers to your questions while you’re applying for roles. You can read more about our career support here.
