Plan your own history tour!
HisTOURy is a mobile application where you can find historical information about your local area and create your own history tour. You can view locations on a map and plan your own tours to explore your home city or even when traveling abroad. We were inspired by our own experiences when travelling, and being able to plan and use an application that can make a personalised tour at your convienance. The user experience is centralised around using maps and creating their own custom tour using our planner.

Tech Stack
We used: React Native (expo), mapbox, tanstack query, tailwind css, supapbase, postgis extension, sql, plpgsql Exploring new technology which we found fitted our brief.
Challenges Faced
The challenges we faced were Mapbox, connecting the new technologies, simulators and getting everything to combine together seamlessly.
