We were inspired by the idea when exploring a habit tracking app idea, essentially we wanted to know the best way to motivate people. People used to be so passionate about taking care of their Tamagotchi, so why not translate that passion to keeping track of your habits and interests! Habigotchi allows the user to care for a cute and communicative pet by staying on top of habits, rewarding the user for streaks and each completed habit. Have fun and stay productive with Habigotchi!

Tech Stack
We used: Typescript, react native, expo. These technologies allowed ease of development when making a mobile app, expo being particularly helpful for testing and Typescript being fundamental in the debugging process.
Challenges Faced
We faced challenges with exploring and learning the new technologies, learning to fluently work together as a team and exploring the most efficient ways to develop, but we believe we passed these challenges successfully and learned a great amount from the process.
