Mobile app for checking fuel prices around the UK
We came up with the idea from seeing a few different price comparison apps, such as AirBnB, fuel prices and electric charging points. We noticed that some apps were more mobile friendly and decided to make a mobile-focused fuel finder app.

Tech Stack
We used: React Native, Expo, Expo Go, Google Maps, Python, TypeScript, Render Building on the experience of React, we expected that React Native would be similar. Expo seemed to be a popular choice for adding 3rd party packages. Google maps was required for all of the maps and location functionalities. The API had to be built in python as this was the most viable option. Finally the API was hosted with render.
Challenges Faced
Difficulties with Android and iOS compatibility. Some members couldn’t access the app while others it was working fine.
