Made by Algorhythms
A musician’s practice companion — log your progress, sharpen your ears, and stay in time.
Musicaly came about due to the frustration of not finding a free music practice app that worked for any instrument anywhere. It is a React Native app designed for musicians who want to keep track of their practice sessions while using helpful tools like a built-in metronome, personal notes, and an ear training game. Whether you’re a beginner learning your first scales or a seasoned player tracking your sessions, Musicaly helps make your practice more intentional and more effective.

Nazifah Aslam
I am an ambitious software developer and my motivation for…
programming comes from making projects, learning exciting new languages, problem solve all whilst having a creative flair.
Adam Peel
Tech lover and keen hiker, often found (or lost) in the…
great outdoors. When indoors, I am mostly renovating my detached Victorian cottage or learning to play classical piano. In all locations I enjoy getting immersed in classical literature and a wide range of music.
Davide Polizzi
About a year ago, I wrote my first line of code—and I’ve…
been hooked ever since. I love pulling apart websites and apps to see what makes them tick, then building my own. When I’m not debugging or designing, you’ll probably find me exploring new places or making beats in my little electronic music lab.
Tech Stack

We used: Typescript, Expo, React Native, Supabase, PostgreSQL, UI Kitten We wanted to challenge ourselves with using new technologies. This stack allowed us to create a cross-platform mobile app with the functionality we required.
Challenges Faced
Setting up the development environment was challenging because we were working with new technologies and learning several new syntaxes. Additionally, we had to figure out how to best collaborate as a team via Git and GitHub. There was also a learning curve in transitioning from web to mobile application development.
