We’re thrilled to share that Northcoders has been awarded the highest possible ranking by Ofsted: Outstanding.
Ofsted assesses the quality of education and training providers like schools and bootcamps. Their Outstanding rating is the highest Ofsted award, recognising exceptional performance in every assessed area, from teaching quality to leadership.
Northcoders recently underwent our first full inspection, and Ofsted’s Outstanding ranking is a strong acknowledgment of our dedication to helping people transition into a tech career.
Our colleagues received well-deserved recognition of the ‘exceptionally effective support’ that they provide for our students. Our bootcamps include support in various form, such as one-to-one mentoring, access to our Wellbeing team for check-ins, and tailored coaching from our Careers team.
We work closely with employers to regularly update our curriculum in response to industry demand, and we’re proud that Ofsted recognised our ‘highly ambitious, current and industry-informed curriculum’ in their report.
The report also emphasised our strong commitment to inclusion and our success in enabling learners to transition quickly and effectively into digital careers.
This means that we’re now in the top 6% of UK further education providers delivering training across all sectors.
