    Week 1

    Introduction Week

    You’ll dive into the mechanics of code execution and learn how to approach problem-solving by breaking down challenges with test cases.

    With pair programming, you’ll also practice sharing ideas, navigating technical jargon, and collaborating hands-on with your peers.

    Week 2-4

    Fundamentals

    You’ll master essential concepts and best practices for a successful tech career. 

    You’ll work with industry-leading tools and techniques, like test-driven development and pair programming, and apply JavaScript’s flexibility to functional, object-oriented, and asynchronous programming.

    Week 5-6

    Back-end

    In back-end development, you’ll design and build robust, real-world APIs. 

    You’ll follow popular REST standards and MVC architecture, creating powerful back-end systems that drive modern applications. 

  • Week 7

    Integration

    Connect the dots between back-end and front-end. You’ll serve static files, fetch real data from your API, and build dynamic web interfaces with accessibility in mind.

    Week 8-9

    Front-end

    Learn React from the ground up. You’ll build single-page apps using components, hooks, and client-side routing – all while connecting to live APIs and focusing on great user experience.

  • Project Meeting

    Week 10-12

    Project Phase

    Work in teams to build an innovative project. Past groups have tackled VR, ML, image recognition, and blockchain (see their projects here). This block also covers AI tools transforming learning and development, like GitHub Copilot for code completion and notebookLM for summarising white papers.

  • Week 13

    Careers and Consolidation

    In the final week of the coding bootcamp, students focus on careers support, including finalising CVs, tailoring applications, and preparing for interviews using AI tools like ChatGPT. You will explore job searching, networking, freelancing, and local industry insights, while also addressing imposter syndrome and planning their next steps post-graduation.
